Batumi Lighthouse

The first structure of the Batumi Lighthouse was built in 1863 even before the foundation of the boulevard. It was created by French engineers in 1882 and has been preserved to this day. The building of strategic importance performed a navigation function. The lighthouse has a unique location, where 41 degrees of latitude and longitude coincide. Now the hydrographic service is located in the building of the Batumi Lighthouse.
